Catch-all Emails
Uncover exactly what a catch-all e-mail account is really, how it works and the way to set up one.
A catch-all mailbox receives email messages sent to nonexistent email addresses under the exact same domain. For instance, an email sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from colleagues or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be received in a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Web Hosting
If you’ve got a shared web hosting with our company and you want to activate the catch-all feature for a particular mailbox that you have in your hosting account, it will take literally only one single click of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel to accomplish this. A catch-all button is available on the right side of each email address that you have set up under any domain name registered in your account. You can choose one single email address per domain name by clicking on the respective button. This will enable the feature straight away, so all emails sent to mistyped email addresses will be re-sent there. Clicking on the button again will deactivate the catch-all feature. In case you have active email forwarding, our system will exhibit a cautionary notice and you will not be able to enable the catch-all feature till you disable the forwarding or you can simply choose another mailbox to be the catch-all one.
